School Meals

School dinners cost £1.75 per day. They are chill-freeze meals - prepared in the county kitchens in Huntingdon, frozen and transported to school to be cooked on the premises. Following the Jamie Oliver initiative to improve school meals, the lunches now offer very healthy choices with fruit and salad on the menu every day.

Children can bring a packed lunch to school if they prefer. This should be a healthy alternative to the school dinner.

The children are allowed to bring healthy snacks - fruit or raw vegetables - to eat at playtime.
